Gifting Angel

Donated gift cards give our families the “perfect gift”—providing just what they need when they need it most.

Become a Gifting Angel and donate gift cards from Target, Wal-Mart, Food Maxx, Safeway, Lucky’s, Raley’s, or Smart & Final
($25 denomination preferred).

These will be disbursed as needed throughout the year, including the holidays.

Everyday Items Angel

Our families have essential needs every day of the year, just like you do.

An Everyday Items Angel will donate new pajamas, socks, underwear, “hoodies,” and sweatpants in various sizes for kids and adults, and diapers in all sizes. Other important everyday items are gas cards (i.e. Arco), AC Transit monthly and individual ride passes (Clipper cards), and BART tickets ($5, $10, $20) to help our clients get to work and important appointments.

Special Treat Angel

What are some fun things you like to do with your family? Our families would also enjoy special “family time.”

A Special Treat Angel will donate “fun” gift cards such as passes to movies or bowling (Tri-City area), and gift cards to family restaurants. Also consider gift cards for haircuts at a chain salon with many locations.

Household Angel

With 200+ residents coming through our shelter every year, household items get a lot of wear and tear and need to be replaced. Our clients who live in their own homes will also appreciate new items to freshen up their homes.

A Household Angel will donate new twin and full sized sheets, bath towels, washcloths, kitchen utensils, cookware, toasters, rice cookers, blenders, and vacuum cleaners.

Holiday Angel

Give the gifts of sustenance, shelter, safety, support, and strength with a monetary donation. These can be made online or mailed to SAVE at the address below.
